I'm hoooooome....and going through some serious alcohol withdrawl. Nobody talk to me today, I've only talked to 3 people all day and have been annoyed when talking to all of them.

So this is why I'm not going to post anything about Philadelphia until tomorrow or the next day, when I can actually be pleasant. We'll just say that it was one of the best "vacations" I've ever had.

Also...apparently I'm a crazy bitch and delusional. Awesome.

I agree that it proves I am a bitch....but I am only a bitch occasionally. And all the interesting people are a little crazy anyway.

If there's one thing I learned since moving to NYC, it's that celebrities are tiny people. Usually both thin and short. When I met most of the cast of Ugly Betty , that was what I noticed first. I met Amanda, Mark, Hilda, and saw Betty (I don't know their real names, I don't even watch the show actually) and they looked like the littlest people alive. America Ferrera (I lied, I know her name) must be like 5'0. Last week I went to a broadway show called "Spring Awakening" that starred Hunter Parrish (Silas on Weeds ). On stage he looked thin but tall. Once we spoke to him afterwards he was shorter than me (I was leaning back in the pic) and definitely thinner than me. The day after meeting Hunter, I found "no parking" temporary signs on my street. These signs are posted all over the place when a filming is going on. Getting Back on Track

I've decided that I don't want to write two travel blog entries in a row, so you will have to wait a bit longer for my tales of beautiful Bermuda. Instead, since I feel compelled to write a post in the last days of every year, I will write about more of my medical journey to motherhood. Yes, I know I'm already a mother, but that had a nice ring to it. This will be my one (and hopefully only) IVF post. And away we go... May-August 2017 Directly following the April 2017 miscarriage, I was determined that I would get pregnant within a few months without medical intervention. I had this misguided notion that the miscarriage reset my body and now everything would work really smoothly, and BAM, instant pregnancy. This did not happen, and I became more and more despondent. A Setback in the Life Plan

 Disclaimer: This post is about me attempting to handle pretty serious emotions, which I don't do well (ask my husband).
