things on my mind lately

1: Where is "Hangin with Mr. Cooper"? I'd love to see that show again, but it's nowhere to be found. I also wish they'd show reruns of Ally McBeal as often as they show reruns of Sex and the City, or ever for that matter. 2: I can now tuck my hair under my armpits. I don't think it's ever been this long in my life. I happen to like it long though, so it's a good thing. 3: I have great money timing. If I fuck up with expenses somehow, the universe always covers me. Awesome. 4: Ghost Hunters freaks me out but I can't stop watching it. Even when I'm alone at night in a basement apartment in an old building.... 5: I still stalk my boyfriend, how sad is that. That's what he gets for filming things and then dispersing them all over the internet. And no, I'm not talking about porn. 6: My brother and his friends are still really fun to hang out with, especially when there is a keg and fireworks around (pictures to come in the nex

All I Want is Food and Creative Love

Well my parents have successfully put me in a bad mood. I used to love spending time at my house, when I'd come home from college and whatnot. Now I hate staying there for too long. Back in December I found out that my mom did something really bad, unforgiveable, and my dad now wants out of the marriage. Slowly more and more people are finding out about this, it's basically public knowledge, so I don't feel too strange posting it. I understand that people aren't perfect and I also understand that people can't forgive everything that happens. So I still speak equally to my mom and dad and it's fine when we aren't discussing the issues at hand. However, my dad ALWAYS wants to discuss the issues at hand. Everytime he gets me alone he starts talking to me like we're best friends and he needs to get all his secrets out before time runs out. So I'm stuck just listening to him, because I know he doesn't have many people to talk to about this, an

It's that time again...

...time for me to be self-indulgent! oh yeah and.... thanks Catharine for the survey and Mike if half of these don't make sense, I filled this thing out like 2 days ago and didn't post it til now 1)How old do you wish you were? 24 is boring but it's better than like....40 2) Where were you when 9/11 happened? In my sophomore year suite watching the tv with all my suitemates, then my classes got cancelled 3) What do you do when vending machines steal your money? hit them a lot or get someone to buy one of what I got so they both come out 4) Do you consider yourself kind? yeah 5) If you had to get a tattoo, where would it be? tiny stars on my hip or shoulder 6) If you could be fluent in any other language, what would it be? Japanese so I can watch anime without subtitles 7) Do you know your neighbors? not yet but I met a few random guys in my building 8) What do you consider a vacation? any day that I actually don't think about or come in t

The creative juices are a-flowin

Well I was waiting for this day to arrive, the day where I actually feel like writing a blog post that isn't fluff. Not that this will be very deep, but I guess take what you can get. Firstly I am a person who gets sick of things pretty easily. I did a whole previous blog post about that before. BUT I just want to say that one thing I will never be tired of is "Everything I Do" by Bryan Adams. That is seriously my favorite song of all time and always will be. I'm not sure what it is, maybe because the first time I heard it I was in my grandparents' car with Lauren going to Cape Cod for my first out-of-state vacation ever, maybe it's the beautiful melody, maybe it's the thought of Kevin Costner playing Robin Hood....well not the last one. The song is kinda corny and whatever, but it'll always be beautiful to me. Random, I know. But I heard it in my car and loved it all over again so I thought the world had to know my feelings on the subject. Se

pictures I stole

I stole these pics from the geva comedy blog. But they're professional quality (a photographer follows the troupe around all the time) and they're all of Mike! Kevin, the camera guy, put his camera up on the rafters so they're all cool birds-eye view shots. Enjoy! See what you people miss when you don't come to his shows? I'll have more pics soon from my Geneva and East End Fest excursions, and those pics are great.

Ta-da!

Annnnd a new template is up in 5 min. I still don't really have much to say in here, but I'll try. ...Nope sorry folks. I'm soooo not in a writing mood right now. Everything I just tried to type was crap, and I'm not willing to publish crap right now, so I'll do it later when I'm in the mood. Stay tuned!
