Things I've Noticed About Myself

1: I have no need for spell check, ever, for which I either blame Marilyn or Joseph.....spelling nazis
2: I am a more jealous person than I ever thought I was....although I hide it quite well
3: I am a huge fan of showing confidence and power...though it's hard for me to do personally
4: Unlike many other girls I have talked with, I would love to get in a fist fight or even a brawl once in my life
5: I play basketball, staple, make ice cream cones, and hold umbrellas with my left hand...oh yeah and something else I won't mention here (tee hee)
6: Movies have way too much of an influence over my life....I watched Father of the Bride today and wanted to get married
7: I have a fear that I'm a boring person, so I force interesting events into my life so I can seem less boring
8: I'd much rather sleep at someone else's house than my own, and I've been that way since I was very little
9: I am afraid of heights, but only when someone else is standing behind me
10: I want everyone to love me. I'm not sure why

Oedipus Complex anyone?

Really quickly... I'd like to say that I have just watched Harold and Maude . Contrary to what I thought it would be like, it turned out to be very good. Everyone knows it's about a young kid and an old lady who fall in love. However...it is extremely tasteful, and has a kind of hippie logic that I appreciate. Both actors did wonderful jobs, and it had a great ending, which really solidifies the movie watching process for me. I guess I'd say that it is like The Graduate with its treatment of adults who just don't know what young people need or want, but it's also like Bringing Up Baby or Garden State or something similar, where the kooky girl and the straight man fall in love. The kooky girl just happens to be 79 years old, but she has convincing reasons for being the way she is. Randomness

I am working a different shift now. It's okay, different = harder at first but I'm getting used to it a lot more now and I don't have to go to sleep at 10 am anymore. Of course I can't keep my blog up very well either, since all my time at home is spent playing Kingdom Hearts or reading. Plus...my computer is really dying I think. I know I've cried wolf a million times about my dying computer but it doesn't seem to be getting out of its funk, and it has a computer expert working on it every day. I guess 5 year old laptops will do that. Andrew has a new car (and I mean new, only 20,000 miles). This was, in part, thanks to me, so he is now indebted to me for life MUHAHAHA.
